Vascular Surgery Physician – 24-Hour Call Coverage Opportunity

Location: Hospital - Trauma Level II

We are seeking a Vascular Surgery Physician for a 24-hour call coverage position starting as soon as possible. The length of the contract is to be determined. This role involves solo work with a broad range of specialties on-site.

Key Details:

Coverage Type: 24-hour call
Start Date: ASAP
Shift Schedule: 24-hour shifts; 3 days per week, including 2 weekends per month (Friday 8a through Monday 8a), and sporadic PTO coverage which may include occasional weekday coverage.

Work Schedule and Responsibilities:

Facility Type: Hospital - Trauma Level II
EMR/Charting Software: Powerchart & Epic
Average Daily Census: 3 average admissions while on call; 4-15 consults; 2-6 cases
Patient Population: 95% adults, 5% pediatric
Procedures: Typical vascular surgery patients

Support Staff and On-site Specialties:

Support Staff: Solo work
Other Specialties On-site: Cardiac, Neuro, Interventional Radiology, Trauma, Electrophysiology, Interventional Cardiology, General Cardiology, Orthopedic, Foot & Ankle, Plastic Surgery

Requirements:

Board Certification: Required
State License: Pennsylvania (or willingness to obtain)
Certifications: ACLS, BLS
DEA Registration: Required
Minimum Experience: 2 years
Credentialing Timeframe: 60 days
