Our Mission
Our mission is to improve healthcare by providing patients with access to quality medical care through innovative staffing solutions. Why do we do what we do? Because we're committed to patient care. At the end of the day, we work to make sure patients have access to the medical care they need. We like to take our mission one step further by implementing it through charitable endeavors.
Almost a decade ago, LocumTenens.com made corporate social responsibility a part of our strategic business platform and consider it an important KPI in the measure of our success. We believe making an impact globally and right here in our community is an essential component of what makes our company and our associates successful.
Each year, we sponsor surgical brigades for the physicians who work with us, as well as our associates, to travel and serve on medical missions in developing countries where quality healthcare is inadequate. We are also proud to be involved with supporting nearly 50 other charitable organizations at any given time through corporate funding, associate fundraisers and volunteerism. Each year, LocumTenens.com associates receive one paid day off to volunteer at the charity of their choice to give back to the community. In 2017 alone, 478 associates gave 2,151 volunteer hours to the community, tackling everything from visiting sick children in local hospitals to building houses.
