About the clinician's workday

This locum tenens opportunity involves both inpatient and outpatient call coverage. The physician will cover outpatient office visits and elective procedures, as well as inpatient emergent calls. The practice breakdown is approximately 1% pediatric, 80% adult, and 19% geriatric patients, with outpatient care comprising 90% and inpatient care 10%. The clinic sees an average of 15-20 patients per day, while hospital-based surgeries include 1-2 emergent cases and 6-8 elective procedures on surgery days. Support staff includes a medical assistant and receptionist, and the office is equipped with PVR, Uroflow, disposable cystoscopes, and a bladder scanner. The facility is a Level 2 Trauma Center.
