Job description

Length of contract: 13 weeks - Looking for APPs for trauma center that covers emergency general surgery
• Start date: 10/7/2024 or later
• Coverage Type: scheduled hours
• Schedule Details: 7 shifts/mo. Need Day and Night shift coverage. 12 hours. Day: 7a-7p Night: 7p-7a
Work Details:
• Facility Type: Hospital
• EMR/Charting Software: cerner
• Avg. Daily Census: 20-35 inpatient per day/night. 45% surgical, 50% trauma, 5% burn
• Procedures: Responds to trauma activations daily rounds progress notes H&Ps and discharge summaries. Typical cases: Falls, MVC, MCC (major complication or Comorbidity). appys, choley, ex lap, hernia repairs
Requirements:
• Board Certifications Req’d/Preferred: BC/BE required
• State License(s): active PA
• Certifications: ACLS, ATLS, BLS, PALS
• CSR Req’d: no
• DEA Req’d?: yes
• Years of Experience Req’d: 1
