Specialty: Cardiovascular Physician Assistant

Contract Length: 6 months

Shift Details: 7am-5pm ten-hour shifts

Schedule: Monday thru Friday with call every 3rd weekend and every 3rd night

Support staff: 2 surgeons, 2 PA’s and 1 CRNP

Patients per day: 3 OR cases a day includes, cardiac, and vascular/ office average 10/floor 10-12

Department Description: Cardiovascular OR & Clinic

EMR: Cerner (Inpatient)/GE (Outpatient)

Hospital bed size: 272

Cases/Procedures: EVH System – Maquet: CABG, TAVR, AAA, AVR, MVR, trained in OR with first assist with endoscopic vein harvesting. Bedside procedures: CABG, AAA, AVR, and vascular. Must take vein and first assist.

State license required: Yes, State of PA

Certifications required: ACLS & BLS

Minimum experience required: 2 years

Credentialing Timeframe: 60 – 90 Days
