Urological Surgery NP & PA Needed in CA

Location: San Francisco

Start Date: ASP

Contract Length: 26 Weeks

Shift Details: 5 x 8 or 4 x 10

Schedule: All on-site, no remote. Possibility for one day remote if they’re on the 8hr schedule for one day/week. Must be willing to work on Fridays.

Work Details:
• Support staff: RNs who support APPs, patient coordinators assigned to do their scheduling/admin. The team consists of seasoned APPs who can train and assist as needed.
• Amount of coverage needed per month: 5 x 8 or 4 x 10 shifts per week
• Patients per day: 8 – 10 patients per day
• Patient population/age: Mostly adult/geriatric – some older adolescents
• Department description: Urology Surgery
• EMR: EPIC
• Hospital bed size: N/A
• Skills required: Experience in one of the following: surgical oncology, surgery, urology, medical oncology. Experience in surgical oncology highly preferred. Willing to consider new grads if they have a lot of nursing surgical oncology or urology experience. Clinic is very busy and fast paced, must be comfortable in this environment. The facility and faculty are known for innovative research and is world renowned for the urology work being done.

• Ambulatory Outpatient

Requirements:
• Board Certification: Yes
o NP must have one of the following: A-GNP-C, ANP-C, FNP-C, GNP-C, AGPCNP-BC, ANP-BC, FNP-BC, GNP-BC, ACNP-BC, AGACNP-BC, ACNPNC-AG, OR ACNPC.
• DEA: Yes
• CSR: No
• Certifications required: AHA BLS
• Minimum experience required: 1 – 2 years

Credentialing Timeframe: 60 – 90 days
