About the clinician's workday
Training is provided for HERO EMR. The custody staff provides a presence in the area where clinicians work, but they do not assign C/Os one-on-one with clinicians unless they go to the housing unit. Patients can only be seen if there is a custody officer in the area. No one will ever enter an individuals cell alone, ever. Regular services are provided in an office setting and the patients are brought to the mental health area to be seen.
