Facility: A faith-based, not for profit mental health agency located in Chicago’s North Lawndale community, providing clinical and psycho educational services to families from varying Chicago neighborhoods for over 20 years. Opportunity: LSW Supervisor I for Mobile Crisis Program * Full time, employed position * Schedule: Monday - Friday,40 hour week with some on-call admin responsibilities/evenings requested (including the weekend once the program is operational 24/7) * Team will consist of a Case Manager, Social Worker (MSW) and a Supervisor (LSW/LCSW) * Will service Cook County and Lawndale area * Illinois licensed Duties and Responsibilities * Supervise the community outreach engagement specialists *Lead the development of a specific educational and training program for the Community Outreach engagement specialists *Assist with the supervision of the mobile crisis response teams *Provide a small percentage of direct services Requirements *Three years post-masters experience in social services preferred *2 years of supervisory experience *3 or more years of experience working with populations exposed to trauma, and experience establishing relationships with community supportive service providers String knowledge of individuals experiencing homelessness, post-traumatic stress disorder, drug and alcohol abuse, disabilities and other mental health or emotional disorders *Crisis experience and inner-city communities experience preferred Compensation: Annual salary starting at $67,000 with comprehensive benefits available.
