Start: July

13 week assignment with the option to extend

Shifts: 5 8-hour shifts per week; 14 shifts per month

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8a-5p plus night and weekend call; 14 shifts per month, preferably 14 days on and 14 days off. Will consider 7 days on 7 days off

Work Details:
• Amount of coverage needed per month: 14 days

• Patients per day:  avg daily census can reach 20 but typically hovers around 17. ALOS is 5-7 days; up to 10 admissions and discharges per week

• Patient population/age: Adult

• Department description: Inpatient Psychiatry

• EMR: CPSI

• Skills required: initial psychiatric evals, daily rounding, possible psych evals on medical floor, psych evals in the ED.

Practice Setting:
• Hospital – Inpatient Psych Unit

Requirements:
• Board Certification: Yes, Adult Psychiatry

• State license required: Yes, State of PA

• DEA: Yes

• Certifications required: BLS

• Minimum experience required: 1 year in an inpatient setting

Credentialing Timeframe: Temps can be granted in 3 weeks for clean files.
