Location: Brooklyn, NY - Revitalized and upscale community near the East River. Facility: 450-bed academic teaching hospital which is part of a large, university affiliated teaching and academic health system. Opportunity: Opening is for an Adult inpatient psychiatrist. The inpatient unit is a 35 bed adult only unit and the physician staff is comprised of 4 attending psychiatrists and one inpatient medical director. Monday through Friday schedule with flexible start/end times to beat the traffic. Patient volume of 8-10 per Psychiatrist. The individual hired would be appointed to the faculty of the School of Medicine. Compensation: Salary is DOE with an incentive and bonus plan.
