About the clinician's workday

The Psychiatrist will be the only physician onsite during the shift. The MOD addresses any issues that arise during the shift. The MOD might have to order emergency interventions. There is no primary care doctor on site. The MOD will assess any acute psychiatric or medical issues and intervene, as needed. For any acute medical issues that can't be managed in-house or require a higher level of care, the MOD refers to the local E.D.
