December Coverage- Georgia Psychiatry

Job description

-Inpatient Psychiatry needed for December coverage after a Psychiatrist left
-10 Hour shifts and Night Call
-December 8th, 11th, 12th, 16th, 17th, 25th, 26th, 27th, 28th, 29th, 30th, 31st and January 1st
-Support Staff: nurse, tech, social work
-Daily patient volume: 20
-Board Certification Required
-EMR: EPIC
-Other providers in unit: 2 Psychiatrists, Medical Director is there everyday the other is 7on/off. 2 PMHNP on 7on/7off schedules
-26 beds in the unit, currently full.
-Average length of stay, 7 days
-Rounding on 13 patients/day
-Average Admits: 1-3/day
-Average Discharge: 1-3/day
-Average Consults/day: 4-5 consult; 8-9 including f/u visits
-Will include ER and consults on other floors
-Will need to cover histories and physicals
-Mostly Adult with occasional Geriatric patient
-Will make credentialing work
-Orientation can be arranged for start date.
