A facility is seeking a psychiatrist for locum tenens coverage.
About the facility location
The facility is located in the southern Los Angeles region right off the 110 highway.
About the clinician's workday
The schedule is Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays: 8am5pm and Tuesdays: 8am8pm. The clinician is expected to work 40 hours/week and possibly cover call treating Adults and Kids. The EMR is AVATAR. Credentialing takes 2-4 weeks to clear and training is provided for EMR.

- Support staff: psychiatric nurse practitioners, psychologists, social workers, occupational therapists, registered nurses, and case managers
- Patient population: All Ages
- Call ratio/schedule: TBD

- Cases treated: SMI - VERY ACUTE PATIENTS
- Average length of stay: 120 days and longer
- Census: 60-90 mins
- Med checks/follow-up per day: 30-45 mins
