An inpatient psychiatric unit with 20 beds is seeking a psychiatric nurse practitioner for locum tenens coverage.

While in Boston, Massachusetts, you have the opportunity to see one of the most historic cities in the United States. In between all the tours and famous sites, take a trip to Fenway Park or get some seafood at any of the downtown spots like the Union Oyster House which is one of the oldest restaurants still in operation today in the United States.

About the clinician's workday

The work schedule is Monday through Friday only, with an 8-hour day, generally from 8 AM to 4 PM. Employees are expected to be on-site for at least 9 to 10 hours daily, with the flexibility to attend family meetings as needed. The position involves working with a diverse range of individuals, including those with general community needs, schizophrenia spectrum illnesses, mood disorders, substance use with psych disorders, college students, and adults (excluding geriatrics). The role also includes working with LGBT individuals and the homeless population. Additionally, there are 9 days allocated for ALOS.
