About the clinician's workday
The rehabilitation unit operates Monday through Friday from 7 AM to 4 PM and provides a multidisciplinary approach to rehabilitation care. Patients receive treatment for conditions such as CVA, orthopedic injuries or surgeries, amputations, neurological disorders, neuromuscular disorders, major trauma, brain injuries, and de-conditioning. The team consists of rehabilitation physicians, rehabilitation nurses, physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, and case management. Additional team members may include nutritional services, pharmacy, wound care, and respiratory care. The unit utilizes EPIC for its electronic medical records.
