Pediatrician Needed in NC

Job description

I have a client in Reidsville, NC who's seeking an experienced Pediatrician for locum coverage starting in November. Here are some job details.

26- week assignment with the option to extend

• Support staff: Ability to see pediatric patients independently.

• Schedule Details: Monday – Friday 8a-5p with ½ day admin - Full time – no weekends or call
Closed day after thanksgiving, open day after xmas, new years day closed.

Work Details:
• Facility Type: outpatient
• EMR/Charting Software: EPIC
• Vaccines Mandatory? Flu shot during flu season
• Avg. Daily Census: 18-20
• Patient Age Group: birth – 21 years
• Procedures: Urinary Cath’s, POC tests, and immunizations (only as back up)

Requirements:
• Board Certifications Req’d/Preferred: BC pediatrician
• State License(s): NC – will NOT license
• Certifications: BLS, DEA
• Years of Experience: Seasoned, they’re looking for someone who can confidently manage patient care, with a strong background in the field and a desire to avoid unnecessary ED referrals. The ideal candidate should be comfortable ordering caths in the office and open to respectful interruptions for questions from parents. Additionally, they should be proactive in handling complex phone calls directly, rather than leaving them to the CMA.

• Credentialing Timeframe: 60-90 days
