California Pediatric Hospitalist Need

Job description

• Setting: Inpatient
• Required Procedures: pediatric resuscitation and intubation
• EMR: Cerner Care B
• Average Number of admissions per day? 4 (3-5) pediatric patients and 7 (3-15) newborn/nursery patients
• Average Number of ICU patients per day? N/A Facility does not have a PICU and NICU is covered by neonatologists.
• Emergency Codes are run by emergency medicine physicians.
• CREDENTIALING INFORMATION: Timeframe: 30-60 days upon receipt of fully completed application.
• Orientation rate (half the hourly rate, kicks in after 8 hours) - "Per hour of orientation or training beyond 8 hours"
• 24 hour call - Must include 4 hours gratis - "per 24 hours to hold the pager, to include 4 hours gratis"
• Call back rate - Must match hourly rate - "per hour of patient contact hours after gratis hours are completed. Gratis prorate to MSA terms."
• Holiday rates - 1.5x the regular rate per CS guidelines for all corresponding rates.
• Board Certified Pediatric Hospitalist - REQUIRED OR Truly BE (0-3 years from residency completion)
• Active CA license - REQUIRED
• Clean Malpractice/background - REQUIRED
• Must state availability of specific dates and ongoing at name clear (# of shifts per month) - REQUIRED
• Disclose if provider has worked at any other CHI/Dignity facility - REQUIRED
• COVID Vaccinated - REQUIRED
