Pediatric Critical Care Medicine, Pediatric Pulmonology

I have a client in San Franciso who's looking for an experienced Pediatric Pulmonary APP for locum coverage starting in Dec/Jan. Here are some job details.
26 week assignment with the option to extend
4 days in person at the hospital and 1 day remote/at home. May be willing to consider 4x10 shifts, but greatly prefer 5x8. No call, nights, weekends
Work Details:
• Support staff: 1 inpatient physician, 3-5 outpatient physicians, RNs, MAs
• Patients per day: 3-7 inpatient, 16 outpatient/week – can be up to 24 pt/week if working lower acuity patients
• Department description: Seeing both low acuity and high acuity pulmonolgy patients, both inpatient and outpatient in unit. Seeing typical pulm cases like asthma, bronchitis, BPD, sleep apnea
• EMR: epic
• Skills required:
STRONGLY prefer providers who have skills managing vents and traechs.
Strongly prefer experience dealing with pulm healthcare
Practice Setting:
• Inpatient/outpatient
• 50/50 split IP OP
• Hospital
Requirements:
• Board Certification: HIGHLY PREFER CPNP-AC.
AANC (FNP-C), ANCC (PPCNP-BC or FNP-BC), PNCB (CPNP-AC or CPNP-PC). If PA, must have Master's in PA Studies.
• License required: CA, yes for NP. Can license for PA
• DEA: yes CA with schedule 2 and 2n
• Certifications required: PALS, BLS
• Minimum experience required:
Minimum 1 year pediatric pulmonary or peds critical care experience required
Vent management exp strongly preferred
Pediatric trach and vent experience highly highly preferred, but not required
General pulm experience like – asthma action plans, general peds pulm skills
Sleep study experience is a plus
Credentialing Timeframe: 60-90 days
