Peds Hospitalist / FP Newborn Care

Job description

*40-45 deliveries per month, called in for, concerning strips, C sections and to round on after care, can be no calls, can be 3-4 times in a day, need not attend delivery unless it’s C-section or baby in distress. Otherwise it’s aftercare.

*# of patients per day: zero to 4, avg is about 2 newborns. High is 3-4. (they do occasionally have drug babies).

*PEDS VOLUME is 1-2 per week, stable peds only.

*DEA: Yes, but can use hospitals if they're inpatient
*CSR: Yes

• 24 Hour On Call
• Asap start + Emergency Credentialing - 1-2 weeks
• All inclusive or daily and call back (usually 2-3 hrs gratis)
