Interventional Pain Management Physician Needed (will consider NEW GRADS) in TX

Job description

I have a client in San Antonio, TX seeking an experienced Interventional Pain Management physician for locum coverage starting in June/July. Please see a few details below:

Wants local candidates but will cover (hotel and mileage)

• Support Staff: NP/PAs and MAs, and scribe team.
• Coverage Type: clinic and surgery center. Locum will work in clinic 4 days a week and Surgery Center usually on Thursday.
• Schedule Details: Mon-Fri working 8a-5pm

Work Details:
• Practice Setting: outpatient Clinic and ambulatory surgery Center
• EMR/Charting Software: ECW
• Avg. Daily Census: 20-25 patients in clinic. On injection days they do 25-30 injections each day. Totally 40-50 pts total on those days. Injection days are 3-4 days a week. Injections go quickly.
• Procedures: epidural steroid injections, bursa injections, joint injections, kyphoplasty, peripheral nerve blocks, pulsed radiofrequency, vertebroplasty, and more.

Requirements:
• Board Certifications Req’d/Preferred: BC or BE (will consider new grads) Must be Must be ABA Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesia
• Must be ABA Board Certified or Board Eligible in Interventional Pain Management
• State License(s): TX
• DEA Req’d?: yes
• Years of Experience Req’d: will consider new grads

Credentialing Timeframe: 30 days
