Ortho Trauma First Assist Physician Assistant needed in Philadelphia, PA! $130/hour + travel and Lodging!

Ortho Trauma First Assist – PA highlight preferred or NP but MUST have RNFA (no exceptions ??)

Prefer one provider with fulltime continuity or will consider two with part time.

Start Date:11/11/2024
Contract Length: 6 months
Shift Details:
Schedule: 6a-6p – 12 hour shifts 5 days per week. Call 6p-6a but shared call. First call w/ support of attending Surgeon.
Philadelphia, PA
Work Details:
15-20 patients per day
• First assist in the OR, Consults, and Rounding. Mostly general Ortho (several ortho sub specialists)
• Procedures:
- IND
- Reduction
- Close reduction
- Finger dislocation
- Shoulder dislocation
*no foot or ankle


Practice Setting:
• Inpatient OR and inpatient rounding

Creds: 45-60 days

requirements:
· Board Certification: yes. Must be PA or NP w/ RNFA
· License required: Must have PA license and DEA
· Minimum experience: 1 year ortho and first assist experience

• 13 week with possibility of extending
• No on call
• First assist in the OR, Consults, and Rounding. Mostly general Ortho (several ortho sub specialists) • Procedures: - IND - Reduction - Close reduction - Finger dislocation - Shoulder dislocation *no foot or ankle
