DESCRIPTION:

Dates: Start January 2024, then ongoing throughout 2024.

Seeking Long-Term, Full-Time candidate with the potential of becoming permanent (if interested)!
• Calls and in-office coverage.
o In-office coverage full time.
o Efficient OR with block time assignments.
o Emergency Department calls (as needed), on a rotating basis.
o When on call, the Surgeon will only have to come in if the Emergency Department requests a consult.
• ASC verified Level III Trauma Facility.
• Procedures: Total Joints (specialist is preferred), as well as general ortho.
o Types of cases include fractures, sports, general, etc.
o No spine.
• Typically bread and butter cases, sick or complicated patients are shipped.
• Complimenting a team of Surgeons.

Support:
o General Surgeons manage the wound care clinic.
o Orthopedic PA’s, full surgical staff
o Completely digital radiology department

REQUIRED:
• MI state license; active, unrestricted
• BC, BLS/ACLS, DEA

COMPENSATION:
• Competitive Market Rate (rate based on availability, experience, certifications, housing, and transportation needs, etc.)
• Malpractice insurance provided.
• Training for new provider – one day before assignment begins.
