About Your Work:

Join an established hospital department w/ 10 physicians and 3 Advanced Practice Providers
Inpatient-only setting
Provide consultation to staff, participate in patient rounds and case conferences, and provide education to clinical team members as indicated
Evaluate treatment and health care plans for effectiveness and modifies per clinical standards and practice protocols
Assist in surgical procedures, including preoperative patient evaluation, intraoperative assistance, and postoperative follow-up care. Surgical first assist in operating room and procedural areas as needed
Assist in the preparation, implementation, and evaluation of research protocols when applicable
Epic: EMR

Required Experience:

Successful completion of an approved Nurse Practitioner program or Certification from the National Certification for Physician Assistants (PA-C)
Minimum 3 years of experience in Orthopaedic subspecialty
Preferred: 1-2 years of Surgical Experience
