LOCUM POSITION DETAILS #43840 – 1 hour outside of Tacoma, WA

Dates: Mid-Late August 2024-12/31/2024.

Duties: OB/GYN clinic care, OB and GYN call coverage through L&D Unit and ED.
• 24 Hour Call. 7a-7a with 20 min response time.
• Clinic 8a-5p, Mon – Friday
o Average # of clinic patients per day: 18.
• Call back averages:
• Schedule: 7-8 call shifts/month, can be combined with clinic days.
o 3 days of clinic per week, 3 weeks per month – preferred

Preference to clinic consistency.
• Multi-specialty office setting
• Support: 2 OB/GYN, 2 FPBO, and 2 CNM.
• Hospital: 25 bed critical access hospital with 3 L&D beds and 4 post-partum beds.
o Level I Nursery
o Level I Trauma – only 36 weeks and above.
• Required procedures: C-Section, Ectopic.
• Typical Cases: OB: low risk/high risk, ultrasounds, amniocentesis. L&D: routine/complicated, VBACs, C-Sections. GYN: GYN Surgery
• EMR: EPIC
• Support Staff: MA or LPN in clinic. L&D RNs at hospital.

REQUIRED:
• WA state license; active, unrestricted. Considering IMLC (LOQ in hand).
• Board certified - OBGYN.
• DEA, BLS.
• Minimum 100 deliveries in the past 24 months.
• Bid Due Date: 5/29/24 3 pm CST.
• Must be willing to help and supervise if needed. Must be comfortable handling OB inductions from group, mostly emergent GYN surgeries.
