About the clinician's workday
The outpatient clinic operates Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM, with an additional requirement of being on call for 10 days each month, including 1-2 weekends, with call hours spanning from 7 AM to 7 AM. Typical outpatient procedures include colposcopies, IUD and Nexplanon insertions/removals, biopsies, pessary insertions/maintenance, and pap smear/pelvic exams. Scheduled surgeries encompass hysterectomies, circumcisions, and tubal ligations. The support staff consists of one nurse and one patient care technician.
