About the clinician's workday

The assignment requires an OBGYN specialist for maternity coverage and as a bench provider. The position requires an MD or DO, who is either Board Certified or Board Eligible. Coverage dates and start times are pending, with shift times being 8 AM-8 AM, 5 PM-7:30 AM, and 7:30 AM-5 PM. The role involves inpatient care, with an average of 10-15 deliveries and 5-8 high-risk deliveries per month, and 4-10% of cases being GYN. Weekend rounding is required, and while the locum provider may be the sole provider, backup can be called in if needed. Support staff and in-house anesthesia are available, and the locum provider will need to admit patients. Multiple providers may be accepted for these dates, and there is time to license the right candidate.
