OB/GYN needed at IHS facility in North Dakota

Job description

OB/GYN needed at Health Care Center (Indian Health)
- Hospital located in Belcourt, North Dakota
o Fly into Minot, ND and then drive 2 hours to hospital
- ASAP - Credentialing: roughly 8 weeks
- 2 weeks on/off schedule (can also look at 1 block/month)
- 8-hour clinic day along with call coverage after hours
o Call activity can be sporadic, some weeks go by with no call back, others may have call back several nights during the week
o Some calls for consults only, hospital’s rule is if the patient is in the hospital, OB/GYN will come in for call back hours
- Call coverage typically not expected on weekends (perm OB/GYN handles), but could come up occasionally
- Hospital handles about 80 deliveries per year
o Deliveries are required
o Other surgical procedures are highly preferred

• 2 weeks on 2 weeks off schedule
• Working alongside perm OB/GYN & midwives
• M-F 8am-4:30p
