PERM - OB/GYN Needed in NC (will license)

Permanent position available in Kinston, NC

Start Date: 08/01/24 (Immediate Opening)
Contract Length: PERM
Shift Details: Monday – Friday (flexible schedule)
Schedule: Full-time need - Call Coverage: 2-3 calls per week; 1 every 6th weekend (Friday 6 am to Monday 6am)

Work Details:
· Support staff: Joining an OB physician and a Women’s Health NP. Each provider has 1.5 CMA’s to a provider and ED call is shared with hospitalists at UNC Lenoir
· Amount of coverage needed per month: Full-time
· Patients per day: 18-20 – 350 deliveries per year split between 3 practices (5 providers)
· Department description: OBGYN
· EMR: Nextgen
· Hospital bed size: 261

Practice Setting:
· Hospital

Requirements:
· Board Certification: BC or BE
· State license required: will license
· DEA: required
· Certifications required: 2 consecutive years of procedure logs to include: C-section, ectopic pregnancy, Hysterectomy, etc.)
· Malpractice coverage provided by Center: Federal Tort Claims Act (HSRA)

Credentialing Timeframe: 60 days – Clean malpractice background
