Obstetrics/Gynecology Physician Needed in New York

Job description

Specialty: OB (95% OB, 5% GYN)
Start Date: June 1 or ASAP
Contract Length: ongoing

Shift Details: T, W, TH 9a-5p 24-hour call on Sundays
Minimum 1 24-hour call shift (hospital), not pager call, need provider to be in the hospital and have dedicated room next to L&D for their providers
*Minimum 1 24hr. call and 1-2 8hr. clinic shifts per week.

Work Details:
Support staff 5 other OB providers, and Midwife support as well. For Sunday call they have an LPN, MA, Receptionist & other Doctors working that can help out
Amount of coverage needed per month: 4 weeks (minimum 3 weeks) of availability
Patients per day 14 patients per day every 30 minutes
Patient population/age: Teenagers & Adults mostly

Practice Setting: Other pertinent information: onsite ultrasound, deliveries are done at Good Samaritan, 5 other OB providers, Midwife support as well, 1500 deliveries per year, they do have a sleep room at the facility if they want to stay on-site during 24-hour call
