About the clinician's workday
The schedule for this position includes 1-2 days required for proctoring, generally covering 7 cases prior to beginning coverage. The total number of shifts per month varies. The types of cases and procedures include suction D&C, laparoscopy, reading NSTs, C-sections, circumcisions (though not required), and tubal ligations. Clinical support is provided with one backup call from a traditional OB/GYN.
