About the clinician's workday

Required procedures for this role include managing low-risk pregnancies, interpreting fetal heart rate readings, conducting ultrasounds, performing amniocentesis, and handling both routine and complicated deliveries, including vaginal birth after cesarean. The role also involves repairing 3rd and 4th-degree lacerations and performing various office and minor gynecological procedures such as inserting intrauterine devices, conducting cystoscopies, loop electrosurgical excision procedures, colposcopies, and cryosurgeries. Additionally, the position requires competence in operative and major procedures like treating ectopic pregnancies, ovary removal, cystectomies, and lysis of adhesions. On average, the volume of patients seen each day includes 2 inpatient and 2 outpatient cases.

• Case load/PPD: Coverage is 24hr call, to include 8-12 hours of patient care and night call -inpatient rounding -clinic coverage -ED consults
