A hospital and clinic are seeking an OB/GYN for locum tenens coverage.
About the facility location
Northwest Georgia is home to beautiful waterfalls and walking trails! While on assignment, visit Tallulah Gorge State Park, Anna Ruby Falls, or Brasstown Bald!
About the clinician's workday
Coverage is needed for one clinic day per week (8:15 AM 4:00 PM) and five 24-hour in-house call days per month. The provider will be off the day after a call shift. Typical cases include C-sections, D&C, ectopic laparoscopic surgery, emergency hysterectomies, vaginal lacerations, and other OB/GYN surgical procedures. The provider will also handle OB cases such as low- and high-risk pregnancies, ultrasounds, amniocentesis, routine and complicated labor and delivery, VBACs, and C-sections. Gynecology responsibilities include GYN surgery, office procedures, minor surgeries, and circumcisions. The clinic sees 10-20 patients per day, with an average of 5 daily admissions.
