Nuclear Medicine APP Needed in CA (NEW GRADS WELCOMED)

Location: San Francisco

Start: December

26 week assignment with the option to extend

Schedule: Mon-Fri 5 x 8 or 4 x 10

Support staff: TBD
• Amount of coverage needed per month: Monday - Friday, Full-Time
• Patients per day: small number – 12-15/weekly; APP is managing a cadre of ~50ish patients. Patients receiving treatment over a set period of time, APP is responsible for the intake and ongoing monitoring of patients as they receive therapy
• Patient population/age: adult
• Department description: Nuclear Medicine
• EMR: EPIC
• Special procedures: no procedures required
• Skills required: Write a HOP, Order labs, Monitor labs, Progress notes, Tele and video health visits, Order medications, Bread and butter patient care

Practice Setting:
• Outpatient
• Hospital

Requirements:
• Board Certification: PA, requires Master's in PA Studies
• License required: CA lic required
• DEA: schedule 2 CA required, furnishing license
• Certifications preferred:
• Certifications required: BLS, ACLS
• Minimum experience required: 1 year experience required, willing to consider new grads who have relevant RN exp
Case management experience preferred

Credentialing Timeframe: 60 - 90 days
