TeleNeurologist needed in Charlotte, NC! All Tele!

Job description

Location: Charlotte NC - Tele
Shift Details: Monday-Sunday, 12-hour shifts
On-site/Tele/Hybrid: Tele
Schedule: Full-time opportunities, but willing to fill the schedule with both part-time and sporadic coverage.
• Amount of coverage needed per month: 24/7 coverage is needed, broken into 2 12-hour blocks to fill both day and night shifts.
• Patients per day:
o Day shift: 9-11, call would be for this site only
o Night shift: 3-5, they would ideally like to credential to take calls for other sites to make up for low volumes (likely in NE, IA, WA, or CA)
- The TeleNeurology goal is to respond by phone within 5-10 minutes and evaluate and consult within 20 minutes for all potential CVA/TPA/ TNK patients.
• TeleStroke Technology: Caregility Carts
• EMR: Epic
• A dedicated Stroke Nurse will log in ahead to ensure the cart is in the right spot, the tech is working, etc.
• Case/Procedure Experience: Everything Neuro; stroke, seizure, TBI
• Board Certification Required
• NC License Required
Credentialing time frame: 90 days
