Outpatient Neurologist need in Muncie, Indiana.

Start Date: October 1, 2024

Assignment Length: One year with the expectation of managing a full clinic.

Patient Facing Hours: 36 hours per week, aligned with the 40th percentile.

Providers Needed: 2

Certification Requirements:

Board Certified/Board Eligible (BC/BE)
Advanced Life Support (ALS)
Basic Life Support (BLS)
Key Responsibilities:

General Neurology with no procedural requirements.
Neuro Hospitalist rounds focusing on stroke cases.
Outpatient care only.
Optional teaching responsibilities.
Schedule:

Full-time, Monday to Friday.
Shift times: 9 AM - 5 PM.
Minimum of 1-week block required twice a month.
No call duties, no weekends.
Hospital Privileging Timeline: 60 days (emergency privileges are an option).

Main Procedures: General Neurology (No Botox, EMG, EEG, EKG).

Trauma Level of ED: Level 2

Electronic Medical Records (EMR): Cerner

Orientation/Onboarding:

Duration: 1 full day
Morning: Human Resources and EMR training
Afternoon: Shadowing
