Outpatient Neurology need in Indiana

Start Date: 10/1/24
Hospital Privileging Timeline: 60 days (emergency privileges are an option)
Length of Assignment: One year with the expectation of establishing a full clinic
Patient-Facing Time: 36 hours per week

Position Details:

Number of Providers Needed: 2
Board Certification: BC/BE
Certifications Required: ALS, BLS
No Reading Required: EMG, EEG, EKG
Work Schedule:

Full Time: Monday - Friday
Shift Times: 9 AM - 5 PM
Block Requirement: Minimum of 1-week block twice a month
Call/Weekend Work: None
Main Responsibilities:

Procedures: General Neurology (no procedures, no Botox)
Rounds: Neuro Hospitalist rounds of stroke cases
Setting: Outpatient only
Teaching Responsibilities: Optional

Trauma Level of ED: Level 2
EMR: Cerner
Orientation/Onboarding:

Duration: 1 full day
Structure: Half day HR/EMR, half day shadowing
