Reason for search: Neighboring facility closed, and IU is absorbing their patients
Location of worksite: IU Ball Hospital Muncie, IN
Start date: 10/1/24
Hospital privileging timeline, are emergency privs an option: 60 days
Length of assignment: 6- 12 months
How many Providers: 2
Certification: ALS, BLS (reading CMG TBD)
Work Schedule: Full-time Mon-Fri requiring a minimum of a 1-week minimum block twice a month
Shift times: 9a-5p
Will there be call: no, No Weekends
Main Procedures: General Neuro no procedures, NO Botox, Neuro Hospitalist rounds of stroke cases.
Inpatient/outpatient: Outpatient Only
Will there be teaching responsibilities: Optional
Trauma level of ED: Level 2
EMR: Cerner
What does orientation/onboarding consist of: 1 full day, half HR/ EMR and half shadow
