Outpatient Neurology need in Muncie, Indiana

Start Date: 10/01/2024
Application Deadline: 60 days for hospital privileging (emergency privileges available)
Assignment Length: 1 year with the expectation of establishing a full clinic
Patient Hours: 36 hours of patient-facing time weekly, working within the 40th percentile
Number of Providers Needed: 2

Qualifications:

Board Certified/Board Eligible (BC/BE)
Certifications: Advanced Life Support (ALS) and Basic Life Support (BLS)
No requirement to read EMG, EEG, or EKG
Work Schedule:

Full-time, Monday to Friday
Shift Times: 9 AM - 5 PM
Minimum commitment: 1-week block twice a month
No call responsibilities and no weekends
Primary Responsibilities:

General neurology with no procedures
No Botox administration
Neuro hospitalist rounds focusing on stroke cases
Outpatient only
Optional teaching responsibilities
Additional Information:

Trauma Level: Level 2 ED
Electronic Medical Record (EMR): Cerner
Orientation/Onboarding: 1 full day, divided into half-day HR/EMR training and half-day shadowing
