Facility: A long-established medical facility, is known for its comprehensive services, including specialized care, emergency services, and a wide range of outpatient programs. Opportunity: Looking for TWO NP/PAs to help with their URGENT Neurosurgery need! Dates of coverage 11/10 and end is 2/10 Coverage needed while they recruit for perm providers. Inpatient, hospital-based setting with responsibilities for rounding, consults, and postoperative care No OR/First Assist or procedural work required Must have a basic understanding of acute neurosurgical and stroke emergencies, ICU care, neurosurgical elective procedures, and postoperative management Hours are 6 p.m. to 6 a.m., in-house coverage Weekend coverage once every 4 weeks EMR system used: eCare/Cerner Level 1 Trauma Center with Comprehensive Stroke designation Advanced Practice Provider (APP) will work autonomously Supervising physician available off-site, on-call 24/7 No new graduates will be accepted Procedures required: simple suture for minor laceration repair Patient demographics range from ages 0 to 99 Compensation: Competitive weekly pay and malpractice included
