Transplant Nephrology Opportunity in Pittsburgh, PA

Job description

• Start date: 9/2/24
• Coverage Type: *M-F | 8a-5p
*Call 5p-8a *24hr Weekend call: 8a-8a
• Schedule Details: *Coverage Needs Details: Preferred would be to cover 1 week of IP and outpatient
clinics (estimate of 2-3 clinics per week).
• EMR/Charting Software: Epic
• Avg Calls per night from Fellow: 0-4. 80-90 transplants a year.
• 14 shifts monthly
• Procedures: Kidney transplant biopsies are done daily (from 1-4/day) and reads are done with path same day
• Experience with biopsy is a plus. Dialysis Center visits not required
• Credentialing Timeframe: 60 days

• Outpatient Clinic + Inpatient night and weekend call available
• Contract: Ongoing, 3 months w/ option to extend
