Job Title: Locum Nurse Practitioner Neonatology
Location: Jersey City, NJ
EMR: Epic
Board Status: Certified
Shift(s) Description: M-F 8a-5pm and as needed.
Responsibilities:
Neonatal Patient Care: Provide high-quality, evidence-based care to neonatal patients under the supervision of the healthcare team.
Collaboration: Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective patient care plans.
Patient Assessments: Conduct thorough patient assessments, including physical examinations and medical histories, to formulate accurate diagnoses.
Treatment Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans, including medication management and other therapeutic interventions, to optimize patient outcomes.
EMR Utilization: Utilize the Epic Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system to document patient encounters, maintain accurate records, and ensure seamless communication among the healthcare team.
Educational Support: Provide education and support to patients and their families, ensuring they are well-informed about the neonatal care process.
Collaborative Decision-Making: Participate in collaborative decision-making processes related to patient care, policy development, and quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
Certification: Board-certified Nurse Practitioner with a focus on Neonatology.
Licensure: Current, unrestricted license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner in the state of New Jersey.
Experience: Proven experience in Neonatology with a strong understanding of neonatal care protocols.
Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively within a collaborative healthcare team.
Flexibility: Willingness to work Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with the flexibility to accommodate additional shifts as needed.
