I have a client in Boston, MA who is seeking a Nurse Practitioner – Pediatric Cardiac ICU for locum coverage starting in September. Here are the job details>

13-week assignment

3x12 (6:30am-6:30 pm or 6:30 pm to 5:30 AM; 3 x 12, with every 3rd weekend)

Work Details:
· Support staff: 24/7 attending coverage.
· Amount of coverage needed per month: 3, 12 hours shifts a week
· Patients per day: 140, admissions a month
· Patient population/age: Pediatrics
· Department description: Pediatric Surgery
· EMR: Cerner
· Skills required: Critical care experience, postoperative cardiac management, exp with congenital heart defects, must have pediatric CICU experience

Practice Setting:
• Hospital

Requirements:
· Board Certification: Yes
· State license required: Yes, State of MA
· DEA: Yes
· CSR: Yes
· Certifications preferred:
· Certifications required: BLS, PALS, ACLS
· Minimum experience required: 2 years

Credentialing Timeframe: 8 – 10 Weeks
