Neonatology APP Need in CT (will license)

Job description

I have a client in Greenwich, CT who is seeking an experienced NNP or PA for locum coverage starting as soon as possible. Here are some of the job details.

Start: ASAP

16 week assignment

o Level 3 NICU
o 1 APP staffed 24 hours a day, attending on call in the day and night

Scheduling
o 12HR shifts
o 730A – 730P
o 24HR

o 3x12s – 3 in a row
o Weekend call
o Nights and weekends are priority
o Could be a mix of days, nights, weekends

Procedures
o Intubation
o Lumbar puncture
o Chest tube placement
o NRP certified
o Neonatal resuscitation
o Attend all high risk deliveries
o Rounding in the NICU

Daily census of 7
Patient population: 27 weeks gestation and higher

o Calls to emergency department occasionally
• Support Staff: Attending is there in the day 8a-4p, then on call if needed
• Patients per day: 7
• Patient type: 26 weeks gestation and higher
• Surgical cases are transferred out

• License & Certifications: Prefer to be licensed on the front end
o NRP is required
