Neonatology APP Needed in CO

Start: June

Work Details:  
• Amount of coverage needed per month:   4x12 hr shifts
• Patients per day:  census is anywhere from 15-25
• EMR:   EPIC
• Skills required:   Perform newborn resuscitations, placement of arterial and venous lines in chest tubes, intubation of term, preterm, and extremely low birth weight infants, and in ventilator management, particularly volume ventilation and high frequency ventilation. Will occasionally ask NNP to help with routine circumcisions

Practice Setting:  
• Hospital - Level I trauma hospital; Level III NICU

Requirements: 
• Board Certification: Yes, Neonatology
• If NP, must have NNP (Neonatal Nurse Practitioner) Certification
• If PA, must have Neonatal Training and/or sufficient Neonatal experience
• State license required: Yes, State of CO
• DEA:  Yes

Certifications required:   BLS, NRP

Minimum experience required: would prefer 1 year but may consider less for the right candidate. 

Credentialing Timeframe:  Can grant temps in 30-45 days if the candidate completes everything right away.
