Medical Oncology MD/DO/APP Needed in IL

Job description

I have a client in Chicago, IL seeking an experienced Medical Oncologist (MD/DO) for locum coverage starting in July/August. Here are a few details:

Contract Length: 52 Weeks

Shift Details: 5 x 8

Schedule: Full-time; Monday-Friday 8a-5p; M,T,Th,F in clinic; Wednesday admin day. Will take night call for their own patients, no weekend call (fellow coverage)

Work Details:
• Patient population/age: Adult; Geriatric
• EMR: EPIC
• Skills required: Seeking a medical oncologist to primarily support its breast medical oncology. However, the client may request some GU or other disease coverage as well. The successful candidate will be board certified in medical oncology or hematology/oncology and has solid experience in breast oncology. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with a growing multi-disciplinary breast oncology program and participate in their large portfolio of clinical trials.

• Clinic/Outpatient

Requirements:
• Board Certification: Yes, in Medical Oncology or Hematology/Oncology
• State license required: IL licensed but may consider IMLC if needed
• DEA: Yes
• CSR: Yes
• Certifications required: BLS, ACLS
• Minimum experience required: 3 years’ minimum post fellowship

Credentialing Timeframe: 75 – 90 days
