Job Title: Locum Physician Internal Medicine - Interventional Cardiology
Location: Richlands, VA 24641
EMR: Athena & Meditech
Practice Setting: Inpatient
Board Status: Eligible
Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours Only
Patients Per Shift: 4-5
Dates needed:
March 25 – 29 then ongoing for two weeks a month.
• It is no call only working the cardiac cath lab and seeing consults on the units.
• After the first, week may have the applicant work 1/2 each day in the cath lab and the other 1/2 day, work in the office seeing patients.
• GE Cath Unit; IVUS; Balloon Pump; TEE; Stress Echo; Thoracic Echo; Nuclear Medicine Stress
Responsibilities:
Provide inpatient care to a diverse patient population, with a focus on interventional cardiology procedures.
Conduct thorough assessments, diagnosis, and treatment of patients with cardiovascular conditions.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement comprehensive care plans.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and quality standards.
Qualifications:
Medical degree from an accredited school of medicine.
Board Eligible in Internal Medicine with a focus on Interventional Cardiology.
Current, unrestricted medical license in Virginia.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
