About the clinician's workday
The position involves a weekend 24-hour on-call shift from Friday at 8 AM to Monday at 8 AM. Although being on-site is not required during this call period, certain procedures may necessitate being called in. These procedures include managing STEMI, high-risk NSTEMI, and active chest pain cases, as well as performing transvenous pacer insertion, pericardiocentesis, and cardiogenic shock. Additionally, the role may require handling CORE (Centers for Organ Recovery & Education) donations.
