Locums Cardiologist Need in OH!

Contract Length: Ongoing

Schedule:
1-2 weeks and weekends per month, ongoing.

Work Details:
Support Staff:
2 Advanced Practice Providers (APPs)
3 Physicians
Medical Assistants (MAs)
Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs)

Amount of Coverage Needed:
1-2 weeks per month; could increase in the future.

Patients per Day:
Hospital coverage only; will round and answer consults.
Rounding typically lasts 1-3 hours daily on weekends.

EMR:
Meditech (transitioning to Epic in the future)

Hospital Bed Size:
90 beds

Special Procedures:
Electrocardiography interpretation, including stress and transesophageal echocardiography (TEE)
Cardioversions

Practice Setting:
Hospital

Requirements:
Board Certification:
Cardiovascular Medicine

License Required:
Ohio License - Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) Only
DEA:
Active DEA with Ohio address
Certifications Required:
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)

Credentialing Timeframe:
Financial Credentialing: 90-120 days
