Interventional Cardiologist Needed in NC

Job description

I have a client in Matthews, NC seeking an experienced Interventional Cardiologist for locum coverage starting in November. Here are some job details.

3-6 month assignment with the option to extend

• Schedule Details: Monday-Friday 7a-6p; Weekday night call/pager and 1 weekend call per month. Will consider a locum with a MINIMUM of 2 weeks per month availability.

Work Details:
• Practice Setting: Hospital
• EMR/Charting Software: EPIC
• Avg. Daily Census: 3 per day
• Patient Age Group: adults
• Procedures: Cardiac Cath/Vascular. The Locums MD will participate in inpatient care / rounding / new consults for the coronart aspect of the interventional service. E.g. post-STEMI patients.

Requirements:
• Board Certifications Req’d/Preferred: Cardiology (Specialty: Interventional Cardiology)
• State License(s): NC
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS
• DEA Req’d?: Yes
• Years of Experience Req’d: 2 years

Credentialing Timeframe: about 60 days
