About the clinician's workday

This role provides inpatient STEMI call coverage, Monday to Thursday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Friday to Sunday for 24-hour shifts, focusing on procedures and STEMI support. Responsibilities include weekday rounding and consults, averaging six consults and three procedures daily with an inpatient rounding list of approximately 24 patients. The role supports a local cardiology groups shift to outpatient services due to a provider shortage. The locum physician will work with two APPs for inpatient support, using EPIC for documentation, with adult and geriatric patients as the primary demographics. Estimated credentialing time is 90 days.
